Scott County Divorce Records
Divorce records play an important role within the Scott County family court system as they provide documented reports of marriage dissolutions, annulments and legal separations thereby serving as a foundation for child custody, property division, and child/spousal support litigations. Divorce records and case information including petitions, name of parties, filing date, case number, financial affidavits, finalization date, and final decrees can be obtained at the Scott County District Court. However, certain sensitive information especially those regarding minors may be redacted from public access. Interested persons may visit the clerk’s office within regular hours to submit requests or search with the public access terminals located at the courthouse. Requests can also be made online through the Minnesota Court Records Online (MCRO) portal.
